If I could find any of the old style cans I'd be in for two. That doesn't seem to be happening though. :(

Reading the MFC holder poll, we've got 26 members willing to pay ½ down for 47 old style can holders. According to Martyn’s post below we have enough demand now with buyers willing to put up a ½ down deposit. It would seem now all to be done is coordinating the funds and deciding on the material to be used for the holders – steel, stainless steel or aluminum.

If Martyn doesn’t have a preference in materials, we could vote & let majority rule. Or leave it to a game of chance – winner gets to pick the material. Or….other’s thought?????

Rather than see this die on the vine, let’s get things going and make this happen! This might be the one & only last chance to get the best holders on the market for our Scepter cans.

The smallest run I can do is 50.

Made from powder coated steel the cost is $80.00 each, clear anodized Aluminum is $84.00, and Brushed Stainless is $85.00

I wouldn't pull the trigger on the order until we had 35 holders pre-sold, and they would all have to be made from the same material.

I just added two more to the poll. I would prefer steel because of strentgh but would consider others.

I don't want mess with rock chips - prefer aluminum for that reason. Stainless steel won't rust, but impurities easily stick (often from the fab shop) and then rust, leaving an non-stainless appearance. (remember the DeLorean auto?)

Well the military contract has moved forward slightly. We have been chosen as the supplier, if the contract moves ahead. The holders will be made from aluminum and we will tag on your order to the number the military want.

The choices you have on the finish are either powder coated desert tan or clear anodized.

I'll keep you posted once I know that we have been awarded the contract or not.

Yes, I want to thank each and everyone of you for making this possible.

Thank YOU Martyn! These are the best MFC holders ever devised! I, along with the others, really appreciate you making these holders available for conceivably the last time ever. I will definitely take 2. Just let me know when to send payment. Full payment in advance is OK by me. THANK YOU!!!

Since I just purchased a couple more water cans I would buy a couple clear anodized. :)

It'd be nice to see a picture of a powder coated desert tan can holder. The clear anodized can holder on AT's website looks an awful lot like gray primer. If I have a choice, I'd be leaning towards desert tan.
