How much water is enough?

When camping in a remote/primitive or covert campsite with no water available, how much water do you carry & how do you pack it? I have only a one liter bottle & a camelbak at the moment but plan to do some camping this year in remote spots. I'm thinking this isn't enough water, but in looking at the pix in ride reports I don't see any water jugs. So, please enlighten me as to how much water I should be carrying. I have one cup of hot chocolate & 1/2 cup to make oatmeal in the morning and maybe two cups to make dinner in the evening, but still use water for washing, brushing teeth & cleaning dishes, etc. This may have been covered before & if so, point me to it. If not, tell how you do it.....
Folks, it appears that "diwit" is a bot. I have noticed a series of posts from it that are directly copied from other sites. This post for example, is from https://www.advrider.com/f/threads/primitive-camping-how-much-water-do-you-carry.452444/ (from 2009!)
This is also the case for this post (just google the text)...other replies seem very generic and "chat GPT-ish". I reported the post...hopefully the admins can take care of it. The weird thing is that I don't get what the point is...usually bots are trying to sell something.
