Hi everyone, I recently bought a rough country switch controller and am looking to wire the switches. The switch system looks like this 505046

I’m looking to either cut my center console and set it inside or place it where my cd changer is. I’m thinking placing it in the cd changed slot will be better but I want to fill in the gap it wil great. Anyone have thoughts on how to put together a clean setup?

I made a custom bezel once for a vehicle, lookup plastic casting online.. basically I got some modeling foam and carved/sanded/painted smooth a custom adapter bezel for a blank spot I took out factory device, used that to make a silicon mold, then finally cast liquid plastic into that.. took a few tries mixing the plastic to match the tone/texture of the OEM plastics but what I ended up with was really slick and ideal, I ended up making a few spares and selling em on forums to recoup the material costs and it was just time in the end..

though the kids now days would use 3D printers I suspect, but thats some serious cash for the results I produced just teaching my self as I went along.. like most things I've never used the method again, but its cool to have in my back pocket and was worth it for the knowledge.

All kinds of ways, all kinds of materials to use. Where's it supposed to fit, will it be fit with the face flush to a surface or stuck on top of something? what sort of fabrication skills have you got?
