how to delete a post?

Choose the ignore member option and you won't have to see their posts anymore
otherwise if it is offensive you could report the post
if it's just annoying, well that's to be expected on any forum

If you created the thread and delete the first post it will delete the entire thread, including any/all member posts that were made in that thread.
Personally, I don't like this feature, as we have lost quite a few good threads because this is possible.
I believe that only administrators should be able to delete entire threads after other members have contributed to the thread.
My 2c worth...

There was a poll and vote about whether or not an OP should be able to delete their own thread. The vote said yes.

But that was a feature of the vBulletin forum software. I'm wondering if that still works the same since the migration to XenForo.


But deleting the whole thread is one thing...selectively deleting other people's posts is, and should be, a mod (or admin) level privilege.
