Do you mean the light on the dashboard? I guess it might burn out over time if you do it all the time.erod said:good fix, but what about the e brake light????
Good resource. I might have to check that out. I've only used the trick I mentioned above a few times - like when people are spotting for me at night & I don't want to blind them w/ my daytime runners.Bighead said:The attached link has the TSB and additional pics on how to disable the DRLs. Disabling the Daytime Running Lights (3rd Gen). Hope this helps.
I was wondering the same thing:chowtime:erod said:just out of curiousity...why would you want to disable the drl's?
Personally I still have mine activated but before I retired from the AF I used to get some grief from my base's gate guards for having lights on as I approached for access. There must have been some feedback to Toyota from a lot of people to get a TSB published.erod said:just out of curiousity...why would you want to disable the drl's?
MicroSquish has conditioned me to really detest things that turn themselves on when I didn't ask for it to turn on and when I don't want it turned on.erod said:just out of curiousity...why would you want to disable the drl's?
