how to patch cloth seat fabric

I have a hole in the left side of my seat from sliding in and out of the truck. It has cloth seats. Does anyone know of a way to patch the hole? It is currently about .75" in diameter.

Tear Mender Adhesive. Stuff patch under the hole, work Tear Mender or similar cloth adhesive around the overlap, then another patch over the top.

If I didn't have this stuff I wouldn't have any overalls worth wearing and my socks would be anklet wraps. LOL

I used "iron on" cloth patches on one of my old Hondas - only really works on smoother fabric though
