Howling Moon Spare parts

Hi All,

I am chasing the black ball that connects the annex on the Tourer and Stargazer to the main body of the tent. We have had the tent for about 6 years with a huge amount of use so ball finally decided to break...with a little assistance from me. Anyone with these tents lightly lube this joint with petroleum jelly, lip balm or something similar.

I have spoken to a few dealers, one has them coming in a few weeks and the other didn't stock. What was interesting was that one of the dealers said he had heard of a person in California who was machining these out of billet but couldn't remember the name.

Does anyone know who this is and/or know of anyone stocking the ball joint even plastic?

The shop that machined these out of billets is American Overland Expedition in Laguna Hills, CA. The owner, I don't remember his name, has a HM tent and made these as he thought the rubber ones were weak and a pain to deal with. Good luck!
