Good stuff. I was active in the community when I had my H1 - they are some very committed and good folks. Great video. Looks like lots of fun!

very nice videos. Makes me want to go out to Moab with my little H3. (2006 duramax powered, solid axle build)

Mark, do you have a build thread on your H1, I am curious about the Atlas 2 in it, I have one in my H3 but only drive it in 2wd on pavement. Do you drive in 2wd on pavement as well or is 4wd ok?

not sure why the H2 got such a bad rap (lol no pun intended maybe it was the rap videos) only bad part was the tie rods; this is not my rig but have been out with him long long time ago this pic I think is over 10 years old lol :( man time flies

Im sure Im not the only one that got a chuckle out of this....

A bunch of rigs trailered instead of driven to, then cannot even get off the trailer without repairs. :coffee:

Still, fun videos. And cool rigs.

A lot of us trailer because of time. The H1 stock max speed is 83 mph. I get better fuel economy towing my rig than driving it lol. One of the guys on trip drove his 4000miles round trip. For me I am the closest of the group I and I was 1200miles away. Some of the group came from Canada, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, and Texas FWIW. There is a lot of piece of mind towing vs. not.

Episode 2 should come out by the end of the month. On day two I destroyed my rear diff and front diff!!! We managed to through a new rear diff in on day 3 ... Lots of drama. Also the diffs in my truck broke from drivers error Well I learned that lesson lol

I am building my truck for some extended expeditions in the next couple years ... Stay tuned

I like the idea of trailering specialty rigs. It allows your rig to be set up for the fun stuff and it allows for it to get home, not to mention the spares you can bring.

Every one of those guys have driven to events with their trucks. Some for this last event came 2500 miles! We all have work and families to get back to and nothing is more frustrating than having to baby your truck so you can drive home.

The white truck with no doors drove From Orlando to Moab and back!!!

Dig this thread

I learned how to drive in an HMMWV when I was like 10. Good memories, though the highway characteristics were nothing to write home about. Especially in a canvas top truck mid-winter in montana.
