Hungry Valley SVRA

After the SoCal Meet and Greet... we headed for Hungry Valley SVRA to camp for the night and while we there we put the LC and AT through their paces on the 4 wheel drive course.

Rock Step Climb

I decided to pass on the rock garden hill climb... it was swallowing full size rigs.



Some side hill that had a few moguls in it.


Next was the Frame Twister..

Dinner was a grilled pork tenderloin and white corn on the cob. Cooked over Jack Daniels wood chips from their whiskey barrel.



People continued to run the obstacles into the night, made for a good show from camp.




That's about it, no real trip report this time.

Yeah... none of the photos do the obstacles justice. I wouldn't say the rock climb is crazy steep.. but it's steep enough to where i didn't want to stop or get hung up and have to come back down.. especially with a trailer. It's also steep enough to where i had some tire chirping going on with both axles locked front and rear.

Tried to reach you through simplex yesterday evening - 146.460 and 146.520. No luck. But I did hit something, repeater, 145.755 linked to the Philippines?

Oh really? Figures.. the one time I was on a different frequency because i was monitoring the Badlands off road driving school. Finally met Tom Severin. You were listening in on PI? awesome!

Yep, thats Tom. He hung out with us for a little while at our camp and we chatted it up. Nice guy. He was teaching both Saturday and Sunday.
