I AM ROAMR Waggie

What do you guys think of the I Am Roamr Wagoneer on a JK chassis? If something like this would go into a a limited production I would sell my Disco in a heart beat and get back into a Jeep. Especially if it had a nice GM V8 or a Diesel!

Neat, but something about the proportions looks off to me. And it needs more wheel well to stuff big tires!

Honestly, I think it needs less lift, less tires, less LEDs, and OEM wheels... so basically undo.

Those + sized wheels and tires were a terrible choice, otherwise I like the idea. If it found its way into my life, I'd ditch all the led light bars and RTT.

If you look closely you can see topographic lines in the paint. Pretty cool if you ask me. Otherwise, ditch the oversize tires+lift and hideous rims. They should have stuck with OEM or some type of retro rim plus pizza cutters

So, is that an original Wagoneer body mounted on a JK frame? I always thought that JKs were narrower for some reason. I'm with the other guys about the rims and tires but, as an original Wagoneer owner, I am all for bringing that body style back. I'm with you, if Jeep offered a new version of the original (even in pickup form) I'd be very interested.

That's a NT, width on the Wagoneer was 74.8 inches with a track width of 58" give or take,
2016 JKU width is 73.9 inches with a track width of 62"

Over all closer than i would have guessed and with the right off set on a set of wheels probably fairly dooable... other than the 12 inch shorter wheelbase on the JKU

I would not deny any part of that in my driveway.

It's a bad *** rig, but for some reason I always feel that the old iron wagoneers look best when done a bit more conservatively.

Oversized tires on stock looking wheels would have been vastly superior. But then again, I'm partial to that whole "stock but not" look....

it looks ok minus some of the previously mentioned pieces (tent, leds, wheels). bumper doesn't flow for me.

also- Anything Scout's next project is Wagoneer based. if it's like their Scout it should be pretty sweet

A JKU is 116" wheelbase. A Wagoneer is 110". Very doable with adjustable links and coilovers.
