I found Land Cruiser Heaven.....

I was in Medellin, Colombia this week for work, and there were Land Cruisers everywhere. It was awesome! Saw a 200-series and a 60-series before I even got out of the airport parking lot. Driving around, it seemed like every 5th vehicle was some kind of Cruiser (being a huge Cruiser nerd, of course I had major Cruiser envy, especially since I am coming from the States). I saw several 40-series (including a Troopie), a couple 60-series, a bunch of really cool 70-series (most were stock, but there were a couple modded rigs too), plenty of 80-series (most were the 81 VX models), and a ton of Prados (90-series), and a couple 200-series. There were also several 4th gen 4Runners, some FJ Cruisers, and a ton of the Hilux (those are really cool trucks).

Besides Cruisers everywhere, there were a bunch of other great Rover Defenders (including a beige one with a Camel Trophy logo on the door), and a few Nissan Patrols (first time I have ever seen one of those.....those are awesome).

Medellin, and especially the area surrounding, is incredibly beautiful. I already want to go back and spend time there exploring.

I have to disappoint you :)
Landcruiser Heaven is in the south of Algeria, where 9 out of 10 cars have the 'sombrero' logo!

From series 40's and 60's to brandnew FJ's, you'll see them everywhere

Even in your rearview mirror it says: TOYOTA !

Sweet!!! Go to Australia, it's even more amazing in it's Cruiser Glory... It's funny, I ended up taking a bunch of pictures of Cruisers and Hilux's and when I got home, everyone was like "Why are there so many pictures of cars :???: " Of course I corrected them and told them they were NOT CARS... :D

Cheers

Colombia is actually Nissan Patrol heaven, in this part of the world anyways. You probably don't have an eye for Patrols since you are not familiar with them but trust me, more Patrols down there then TLCs. And Patrols have been in Colombia since about 1956, many very rare models there. There is a lot of TLCs in Colombia but Patrols are more popular, Rovers less then both but still have a good following.

Guatemala is TLC heaven and so is Costa Rica. I found Panama and Nicaragua to be more Patrols....

Oh and if you get a chnace visit Bogota. My favorite large city and a been to a bunch of them around the world. Also Cartagena is worth a viist as is most of the country.

Oh and you will find FJ43s are more common then most other models of TLCs in Colombia. If you get lucky you might even see a Delta Mini-Cruiser. There is a few hundred of them in the country....

I just had to search for more info on the Patrol. The ones that stood out to me that I saw turns out to be the old Patrol G60. Those were really cool.

I got to visit Bogota several years ago. I actually preferred Medellin and the surrounding Rio Negro area, but both cities are great. Bogota is a beautiful city with all of the Spanish-influenced architecture. I hope to visit Cartagena some day.

After reading this I walked outside.

Every vehicle is a Toyota except for one Izuz D-Max

There's 4 dual cab Hilux, 4 Trayback 79 Series V8's, 1 Trayback 76 Series V8 wagon, and one 1HZ 6cyl 78 Series troopy.

All these vehicles are of course diesels, and I'm of course in Australia :)
