Actually they did sell the Stout is the US, I have seen a few at car shows but they are very rare.

Ive always wanted to do one with an auto trans and a TDI motor for a daily driver.

My dog has a Stout, 1965. While they are rare in the U.S. they are pretty easy to find if your on the hunt.

I agree, while they are rare you can find them. I've had this one for a few years, just waiting to start on it. Found another I am going to try and pick up.
