the distance isnt quite what i was hoping for. but is still pretty impressive the amount of light they give off.

ie: my $10 northern tool lights go almost as far but have a much tighter beam. at 100 yds they light up a 10x10 area. the Lightbar lights up EVERYTHING all the way to 100 yds.

overall pleased with the lights though.

I just set up the 30" on my roof rack... Possibly a longer bar would give more light. I tested it last night, and you get light up to about a third of a mile out. It lights up with detail about 1000' out. You could try going higher on the vehicle. Aiming it up might help a little, but in the rain or snow you would blind yourself... Hope this helps.
