Seriously, or mayby I will pick up some used Hoes or maybe I will sell the truck and bike everywhere. But what is likely to happen is I will get the kings based on price unless someone comes out and flat out says you are making a mistake, get the Donahoes. Someone reliable that is. Until then I will ride my new bike and abuse my OME.

I have had sway a ways and a fellow employe while I worked at Donahoe had the kings. Because of their design they did not have enough travel and the valving was generic. We took them both out into the desert and they were no comparison. I used to build the donahoes, literally, with my hands.
The kings may have changed since then so that is my disclaimer. As they were, they actually sucked.
Kings are GREAT quality shocks in general. In fact they are on my desert race 1600 car. Just not this kit.
The Donahoe's have, in my opinion, gone down a bit in quality. That being said, they are still, by far the best out there. Call me biased, but its really true.

ok so here is a plug for the kings out there i have the king coilovers with the total chaos upc arms. I have had them for close to a year and a half now and have never had a problem with them. No leaks, squeaks or anything else for that matter. They ride a little stiff for me but that is due to the lack of bumper or winch that i plan on putting up front. Personally i prefer the name King over donahoe imo king has great costumer service where i live and any problem i have ever had with other kings has been resolved quickly. If you get a good deal on them definetly go with the kings.
