I need a good quality 6 man tent

I have a Walmart 10 man at this point that has surprisingly held up to very light camping. I am looking to upgrade to something a little more durable. Can you make some recommendations?

So I have been looking at the Black Pine View 8, The Big Agnes Flying Diamond 8, The Springbar family camper 7, and the Kodiak flex bow 8. I am ripping my hair out. I have no clue which to choose...If you don't care about money, which one do you choose?

I went LL Bean King Pine 6 for the solid warranty. I think they redesigned it though, so can't comment on the latest version.

I'll throw these two into the mix as well. We just bought the Halo 6 and I'm pretty happy with it, but the Limestone has some features I'd have liked.

I'm not crazy about those Black Pine tents because they don't have a full-coverage fly. The Springbar looks well made, and a sturdy design for a wall tent, but I prefer a tent that doesn't depend on stakes to stay up.

So of these choices, I'd go with either the Big Agnes or one of the Marmots, personally. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Well I decided on the kodiak deluxe 10x14 and also grabbed the optional vestibule attachment. Also picked up the kodiak truck bed tent...LETS GET CAMPING!!

Anyone know if I will have to season and/or seal the kodiak tents?

Great choice - the last tent you'll ever buy, unless you sell it, and then you'll want to buy another one. +1 what Honu is saying about seasoning. I used a mister and was good to go.

Buy some spare thumbscrews to keep in your stake bag. I've had a few of them go bad on me. I have the exact same tent and you will love and hate it. The latter is due to the sheer heft of it. I strongly recommend keeping the poles separate from the tent roll unless you turn green and double in size when your angry.
