Ignitor switch failed on my Dometic, can't seem to remove these knobs.

These knobs won't pop off with any effort, any advice to removing them would be great, seems silly but maybe I need to bring the whole fridge out some? I'm trying to remove the faceplate in the hopes to switch out the igniter button which has failed, there's no spring to it.
