We just use Luminoodle string lights for outside and/or inside our vestibule. Nothing fancy, but they work well. If you have a portable power pack, you can recharge the battery during the day.

Inside the actual tent, we use a small rechargeable lantern. Luminoodle would work inside too, but they are a bit too bright in such a small space.

When does version 3.0 come out?

They have started with pre-orders. Around May to start shipping them out, I believe.

Version 3 seems to address just about every negative I had from the original.

Better windows, new logo, better shell, air mattress (like an exped).

What I don’t know is if they have addressed how the annex and awning attach.

Version 3 actually looks like where this tent should have been all along.

Doesn’t seem a whole lot different than 2 to me I’ll be honest. only thing that intrigues me is more room for packing bedding

Good thing is the price for the 2 has dropped quite a bit. It might be a good chance to get a hold of them if you don't mind not having the newest version.
