Did you ever decide on a lift? OME HD springs net you about 3" put on their 10mm spacer and you're right about 3.5". Combined with some Bilsteins the ride is great.

I'm not a fan of spacers. I'll likely go for the 3 or 4" kit from Iron Rock. Reviews are good - unless Rubicon gets their act together then I'd buy a RE kit in a heartbeat. Clayton is too big and I've decided against long arms.

I ran the IRO 3" with some Bilstein 5100s and liked it a lot. Firm enough that it wasnt tipsy yet did well off-road. Not a bad lift for the price and the guys at IRO were very helpful! If OME would've had a taller lift I probably would have went with them, though.

I've got the 3" IRO with a 10mm OME spacer all around, and the Bilsteins, with 265/75/16 Goodyears. I've got about 10K miles on the setup now. It's a great combo IMO, and does the highway well also. It's my DD/exploring rig, with a 42 mile highway drive to work, 84 miles round trip. Good luck with your choice. Pete

Thanks, Pete. That's the perfect size. I don't want to go huge like my old Jeep...I get in trouble that way :sombrero:
