Hello Everyone -

I'm looking for front and rear bumpers for a 2001 Toyota Tundra. I would like something that is low profile and sleek looking but also something that will hold up and has winch capabilities. It seems to be a hard find so that's why I'm needing help. I apologize if there is already a post on this but if so, could you share the link ?

Thanks

I placed an order for this front bumper (frumper??) from Addicted Offroad for my '05 Tundra. I chose this over an ARB for price, weight, and ability to mount a winch. I thought long and hard about just getting a WARN brush guard to mount a winch, but between the crappy approach angle and the inability to winch at extreme angles without causing damage, that (pricey) solution didn't work out in my head. The Addicted Offroad bumper requires welding of a crossmember across the front end of the frame, but I don't see that as being a major issue. Helps to have friends with skills.

I spoke with the owner of the company on the phone about some supplier and backorder issues he was having, and he assured me that he's not having supply line issues with the Tundra bumpers. Lead time is about 3 weeks, so he tells me. Shipping is a flat rate of $125.

U can mount a winch to the arb bumper right? Only tube bumper I would do is a custom pre runner style but can't winch

I really like the CBI stuff for Tacomas, and I'm hoping to get a rear w/swing-away made for my Tundra. Only problem is, they're in Idaho, and I'm in Virginia. Gonna be hard to get out there for a custom type build.

I'm a big fan of the Addicted bumper on my Tundra. I have a lot of pictures on my build thread in my sig. I will probably have the rear custom made as they aren't many options for our trucks.

that doesnt look bad but i want something that is strong. my armor on my runner was mainly for rock crawling but it doubles as armor from other cars. the tundra will see more road so i like some armor for crappy drivers

tube bumpers can be just as strong as plate, hell, desert racers use them the bash each other out of the way, of course it is tied into a tube frame.

Mazzulla makes some very low profile bumpers/skidplates, pretty much what the Border Patrol runs, could be adapted to a Tundra.

My tube bumper is strong as hell as winches just fine, we used plate to cover up all the open areas.
