Anyone have a chance to see them at expo east? Anyone have one or put their hands on one? They have a us distributor and run about 25k$ for the trailvan. About $35k for the comfortvan.

We saw it at expo east. My wife really liked it and considered ordering one. At $25k seemed a better deal than the Conquerer. They are complete set-up with everything you need including solar panels.

Did you think it was similar to the conqueror in build quality? look to have similar off-road durability? I can't really tell about clearance or solidity from the online media. thanks,

The builds did seem similar but we just walked through them and didn't inspect them super close. I really couldn't say if they have the same durability or not. They seemed to have similar ground clearance and overall height. They do have the dimensions listed on each of their websites. Sorry I am not super helpful here.

Thanks. Been poking around there a little. It is amazing how bad the online presence is for a lot of these companies. Especially when you see something like patriot's (aus) presence. And it gets confusing trying to deduce quality when the companies have slightly different offerings in SA vs AUS vs US ( if at all). And also considering some of the discussions are manufacturer (product) related and some are dealer and after sales. Of course it would be much easier with a strong dealer or service network in the USA but it is what it is. Definitely trying to do some homework before dumping cash on an import and having to basically do any servicing myself.
Like the looks of the trailvan's offering as well as conqueror. As well as a few Aussie ones. Man you can waste some hours trying to navigate these things. I feel like if I saw them up close I could do it in a few minutes.

the patriots seem top notch :)

its tough also cause people come on to complain more than to praise it seems for some products ?

I loved my conqueror but it had some issues ? but it also is from a dif country and some friends from down there kinda agree south african things can have questionable quality control :)

the little things that were tough is bearings ? OK I can replace the axle but sourcing south african bearings was a pain the electrical thing ? mine was a early one but seemed to be a common problem and not saying these will have those issues :) but to me its those little things that can be kinda a pain to deal with
the way the electrical was run was pretty 3rd grade etc..

I do think seeing first hand and giving a solid go over ;) and I must say the way these things are laid out IMHO are superior to our local offerings !!!
the layout of the conqueror to get in and pack and unpack and access is so so so much nicer than others !!
same thing with the patriots seem very well thought out for a trailer you do not go into

the conqueror and these you can sleep in would be really nice at times even though I am a sleep outside guy :)

again mine was older but the welds and electrical and other things at times were kinda ahhhhhh hinges crooked etc...
I think the aussies have way better control and the us products do to but again (repeating myself) the layout on these are so cool and these are newer so might be way nicer in build than they used to be :)

forgot the other guy who bought a kimberly like brads that had the lift go bad ? but shows even the best can have a issue and then getting service here can be a pain :)
one reason the styles like the patriots are nice as they are simple
would say the slide out on the ones from south africa ever have issues ? no idea and would they be easy to fix is what I would think

USA Website

Hi Guys,

We have a US website as well. Just search for Imagine Trailvans USA

We will also be at the Pittsburgh RV show if anybody want to have a closer look at the Trailvan.
