Immobiliser Question - Gen 2.5 montero won't start

Hi all, I had to take my dash off. So had to disconnect the immobiliser (mitsubishi security system). i also disconnect the +ve terminal of the battery. After putting the dash on, the car won't crank... tried few times to no avail....tried jump start but nothing happend. Realised that I did not reconnect the Immobiliser and that is probably the reason car won't start. When i connected the immobilizer the loud alarm came on, so had to disconnect it.

Can someone help with the situation?

Thanks

I'm on my phone, so don't want to go through the process, but search here in this Monty forum for how to remove the alarm. That will show you how to rewire the imobilizer harness. It's easier than it sounds.

Did you try connecting it with remote in hand to turn it off/disable it??

Once the alarm goes off turn it off with the remote. If you don't have the remote insert key turn it to the on position while holding the alarm light button... I think is the on position it might be accessories position. Either way that would be option two. Good luck!

Thank you guys was able to start the car without alarm. Now I have different problem, put in a new heater core, but there is no heat. Will create another thread for that.

Thanks
