It may seem silly but I have picked up a pretty steady 1/2 mpg after I added some driving lights in front of the grill. It probably does a similar thing to blocking the grill directly, which is a way to increase mpg in of itself. It's not much but it adds up over time. Just a bonus if you are putting them on anyways
