Hey everyone I've been trying to find a web site that I lost when my last comp crashed. I think I may have stumbled upon it through this forum. It was a company that sold a 12volt DC to 5volt DC converter with a usb plug for the power outlet, they also had various styles of usb plugs that one could mount in a dash, console, etc then using an extension hook it up to the power converter.
I've tried searching on here and google, but I just cant seem to find it.

One Half Watt

I used One Half Watt - www.onehalfwatt.com - on my trailer build. Converts 12v to 5v with a circuit board that can mounted out of sight and then has a nice usb plug on it. Good service from these guys also if you have questions.

Check out rat shack and places like Wal-Mart, Target, etc.. I picked one up a couple years ago to power my GPS. Make sure it works with the device you want to power. My generic one will not power or charge my Motorola cell phone.

Yeah I have a cheaper one, it doesnt charge my iPhone.

I have a Black & Decker 150W inverter that plugs into the cig lighter that also has a USB plug that chrges everything I've tried pluggngjnto it so far, it was around $39 and I got it at WalMart - bought it to charge my laptop & use the USB to charge my Bluetooth headset, etc. Nice little unit.
