Well the main reason for the aluminum is that I have a lot available to me for pennies on the dollar, way cheaper and at my finger tips.

As far as reinforcements go I like what Rwhat was saying on sleeping with some tubing, I have some 1/8" aluminum tubing for that. Crossmembers will be made from the same channeling as the main frame, simple process of latticing it in the frame.

Sb motto brings a good point on corrosion from the steel from the timbren, I have plastic sheiving that is used for guides on drilling rigs, doesn't wear out and extremely strong, I thought of using between the steel and aluminum?

you will want a 2x2" square crossmember from timbren axle to timbren axle. They are designed to have it slide through both sides and weld in. You may be ok with a thick coat of paint on the aluminum before you bolt the timbren setup in.
