Installing 2nd generation Xterra coilovers

I just ordered new OME struts and springs for the front of my 2014 Xterra. They will come unassembled.

I am very mechanically capable, however I'd like to read through a how-to with some decent photos of tearing down and rebuilding the struts/top plates before I dive in.

Could anyone point me towards the relevant info, or give a quick overview?

Swapping the front shocks is so dead simple that its almost cheating. The hardest part of the whole operation is the spring compression. Everything else was cake, and if I wasnt replacing the wheel bearings while I was in there last weekend, it would have likely been an hour long job, minus the process of taking the old assemblies and having everything swapped onto the new shocks.
