I read the installation manual and flow rate max 1.5gpm.
You need a pump source to supply the water and pressure. Needs to be mounted, manual states " DO NOT USE SUSPENDED FROM THE HANDLE!"
Not much different from a Zodi hot water shower.

I first saw it in a mailer then found the link.
The mailer does mention "it could be hung in a tree".
It does come with the heater as well as the pump.

Your right but the price is alot less than a ZODI.
I had seen quite a few posts about showers and this seems to be a fairly easy system, comes with everything but the bucket for the supply water and it costs almost the same as a home built system.

Plus it has auto on/off with the flow of water...whereas the Zodi goes into melt down mode if the water flow stops :yikes:
I wonder though how much water is 'wasted' getting it up to temp?

Sorry but I didnt see any info about a pump on the manufactures site, your link, or the units sold on Ebay.

I also "googled" the instruction manual. Nowhere in the manual is there any reference to a pump.

Or just a bowl of hot water and a towel. Takes up less space and can be used for multiple things. I personally don't like the 'just a shower' concept. seems a bit excessive to bring along something that does just one thing.
For a while I had the Coleman instant hot water heater, which also had a shower head and a pump, so you could use it for a couple things. Plus it had overheat shutoff. It worked pretty well.
But in the end it took up space and weight and was one more thing. We already have something to heat water in (pot) and on (stove). Throw in a rag and clean yourself up. Or just hang out with people with showers.
Simplify.

I had picked up a Zodi shower 10,000btu unit (single tank) with the D battery pump from Walmart for $96.00 not a bad price for a back-up shower IMHO.
Has anyone tried copper tubing around the exhaust pipes to heat the water for a shower? I have a Helton heat exchanger but haven't installed it yet I just don't want to tamper with my coolant lines LOL . I still think that's the best way because your not using propane .

There's at least one guy that has tried the exhaust manifold heat exchanger. But most are the HH or similar. My HH works great; no complaints other than I am going to go from the HH supplied pump to a Shurflo so that I can get more pressure and then cut back on volume at the shower head for water conservation AND a decent shower.

I'm still used to 5 day trips in a CJ-7, pre trailer. No room for toys. But now that my trailer is done I am amazed at the number of things I can't live without.
