Insulated Coffee Cup

Well, after a stop at MEC today, I got the chance to look through all the options mentioned. The Yeti definitely seems great, but would be more of a cold-drink container for myself.

My money will be either going towards a Forge, or the Stanley one hand open.

As mentioned above, they seem very easy to disassemble for thorough cleaning, and I know Stanley's reputation for their thermos products is well earned. Camelback has been making solid products for a while now and both are within shouting distance for cost. They're both on the high side of the market (30-40$CAD), but seem well worth the price. I'll probably end up flipping a coin for the decision, really.

I've tried many and the best one I have found is the Zojirushi insulated mug. Keeps coffee hot longer than all the ones mentioned so far in this thread. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00HY...=zojirushi&dpPl=1&dpID=31IKLPDho+L&ref=plSrch

Abso-freakin-lutely. I have a couple of these and they are hands down the best thing I've ever found for keeping stuff hot or cold. I've filled with coffee and 36 hrs later still had plenty warm java. I put ice in it one day (about 1/3), didn't put the lid on, and forgot about it. I came back 4 hrs later and when I went to dump what I figured would be ice water by then but the only thing to come out was ice. Not a drop of melt.

It's easy to use. Push the button with your thumb, drink, snap lid closed with your index. Three different sizes. Light. Easy to clean. Wouldnt trade for anything. Tried the yetis and they're like holding a mini-keg. Thermos, no contest. Stanley, nope. Tried all those and if my only choice was one of them or pay double for the Zojirushi, I'd be paying double. Yeah, call me a Fan-boy.

sounds like a solid cup, but hate the flip lids personally. I've broken several (different brand) with the same lid type and it's useless after that and you can't close it once it's broken. again, just my experience with those flip lid types

I decided on the Rtic cup with a sliding lid. The sliding lid is worth the price of buying an additional lid in my opinion. Last thing I want is my drink all over my truck. The only downside is they are on backorder till February 5th. I love some of these recommendations though. I will definitely be keeping Zojirushi in mind when it comes time for a new bottle
