Here is a new wheel being developed by Interco. I talked with the rep today and he is meeting with Chrysler in the next week to get the ball rolling. I think this wheel looks excellent for an overland Jeep.

What's with the dual valve stems? Designed for an inner liner like a Staun system?

The entire wheel is designed around function rather than form. The purpose of the dual valves is to always have one easily accessible to air down or service the tire (example: one valve could be buried in mud).

looks nice.
what material, strenght, and weight does it sport? :)

regardless, vs stock, those look like they can take a beating.

while on the subject, could a kind soul remind me what you need to inflate or deflate tires at will while being inside

away from the cold/hot sun/blizzard/etc..? :)

If that's the case (function), I'd rather see the valve stem mounted in a more vertical position rather than have two of them poking out the side looking for a rock to rub on!

I'm an Interco fan, hell they sponsored tires to our Jeepspeed team a few years back. I just don't see anything particularly special about that wheel.

Looks like a alloy version of the Jeep steel spare wheel / winter wheel -

My first thoughts exactly. Form over function? Two valve stems of the same size seems like a gimmick more than function. Using the mud scenario, wouldn't it be better to deflate before entering the mud? Two valve stems of different sizes, i.e. a regular valve and a Monster valve make complete sense on a rock crawler, perhaps not so much on an "Overland" rig where the tire sizes are smaller don't dictate the need for rapid deflation.

The tire rack ones are more traditional winter wheel style I think (from the photo) which I prefer. The mopar 17" winter wheel is kinda ugly in my opinion...

I would be interested in knowing for sure if the this wheel does work on a 2013 Rubicon.

Any with that annoying Silver Ring on Black rims? When did that get popular? Probably right around the time as fake bead locks. It's all I see on Mall Crawler JKs.
