Some of these trailers are really interesting as they have actual interior live-in space.

I wonder if there would be a market for these more upscale off-road trailer in the U.S. or Canada

I wonder if anyone has looked into importing these in the U.S or Canada? Martyn?

Very nice units indeed. We have plenty of experience importing from SA and it is very expensive. The general sentiment we have heard is that when it comes to trailers, once the price starts to climb over $20K US, sticker shock seems to set in. The price of a Kavango would approach $30K in the US given rising transportation costs, the devalued dollar and over valued Rand, Custom duties etc. The market for such a product would be quite small as the King Kamper.

With fluids it approaches 2700 lbs. Height on 31" tires is about 77". Length almost 17'. Width: 77". Rather large & heavy IMO for serious terrain and would require either a V-8 or I-6 diesel.
