Mr. Bran Ferren is the Co-Founder, Co-Chairman, and Chief Creative Officer at Applied Minds, Inc. Mr. Ferren is an Advisory Partner at Millennium Technology Ventures. He is a designer and technologist working in entertainment, product development, engineering, and architecture and the sciences. Before founding the company in 2000 with Danny Hillis, Mr. Ferren founded Associates & Ferren. Prior to that, he was the President of Research & Development and Creative Technology for Walt Disney Imagineering. Prior to that, Mr. Ferren founded Associates & Ferren (A&F) and was the President of and Senior Designer at the firm. He is an Advisory Partner at Millennium Technology Value Partners. Mr. Ferren is a Member of Strategic Advisory Group at Paladin Capital Group. Mr. Ferren is a Board Member of The International Design Conference in Aspen (IDCA) and a Senior Advisory Board Member for science, advanced technology, and innovation management to seven United States Government agencies and the Senate. His current positions include National Security Agency Advisory Board, National Reconnaissance Office Technical Advisory Group, Army Science Board Member, Defense Science Board Member, and National Imagery and Mapping Agency Advisory Forum. Mr. Ferren is a three-time Academy Award recipient for Scientific and Technical Achievement, and an Oscar nominee. His Broadway design works include Cats, Evita, Sunday in the Park with George, and Little Shop of Horrors. Mr. Ferren is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
