Interior bungies on Overland RTT

My bud recently gave me the bungies for the Overland RTT i got from him, these are intended to pull the sides in as you fold the RTT up for storage.

I'm not sure how to utilize these, anyone happen to have a pic?

TIA

I dont have the overland, but my RTT does have them as well. I have d-rings sewn into the side of the tent on the inside. When you get ready to close it up, you simply clip the bungies on the d-rings from one side to the other side , and it pulls the sides in as you close it.

Not sure if its the same as your RT though...

I have 4 elastic cords, and 11 plastic clips. Either i have a few extra clips, or a few of the cords have a 3rd maybe 4th clip. I also have the loops for attachment on the ceiling as well.

Looked through Autohome's website and saw a pic where the some of the cords wrap around each other. I'm sure MikeS or someone who owns one can enlighten me.

Thanks James.

Without the cords, when you close most rooftop tents, the folds often lay to 'the outside and on the collective side of the closed tent'. This gives it a messy, bulky look on the sides and the cover is then often difficult to slide over. Dust can reach inside the tent sometimes because of an ill fit.

Take chalk and mark where each fold extends the furthest outside the closed tent, before you would normally tuck them in. These should be about the same on the opposite side of the closed tent. Sew in rings on the inside of the tent opposite each other and clip the bunjis when closing. You'll find that closing up the tent in the future goes quicker in the future too.

Thats the quick explanation.
