Interior Dimensions

Is there a resource for interior dimensions of the different types of vans? I've started to pull it from different sites but it would be ideal if someone had already done it and measured in the same way.

Astro, Vanagon, full size?

Looks like the Astro is actually shorter in the cargo area than the Vanagon? Almost shocking looking at the ones parked on the street.

I got Econoline floorplan & some dimensions from the Ford website. I think you might have to do this the hard way.

Ford E Series

Here's a link to the Ford info for E Series vans from 2004-2013. Click on the Body Builders Layout Book for your year and then select E Series and then your model. Lots of detailed measurements.

I think sportsmobile has interior dimensions and floor plans for the vans they modify. So Express, Econoline and Sprinter. That is as close as a centralized location I've found.


Probably have them for the Nissan vans as well, but haven't looked.

I will go through all the sources then. I want to do it in some sort of visual form, if it ever looks decent I'll post it.

AWD Astros are pretty common, AWD Expresses are not (and I remember the E-series actually being nicer last time I drove both). I need to look at the trade off of size vs AWD.
