Hello everyone,

Just purchased a 97 Toyota 4runner Superchared Limited as our platform for our expedition vehicle.

New to building offroad vehicles, our plan of attack is:
1. Lift 2"-3"
2. Tires
3. winch/Bumpers/ Sliders
4. Storage
5. Expedition/ Recovery equipment

We are planning a road trip from Colorado to Alaska!! This is an awesome forum!! Any help in pointing us in the right direction would be appericated!

Welcome, I loved my 98 4Runner and it didn't even have a supercharger.

I've got to ask; what is mounted to your roof rack?

HaHaHa! Thanks for the directions, atleast we will be pointed in the right direction when we start! HaHaHa.
So a couple of questions?
1. OME lift or go with Icon/Toytec adjustable coilovers?
This rig will be a daily driver so ride comfort is important. We are looking to run 33's on the 4runner.
2. Oh yea, which way is north?

I am in Carbondale.
We also have my old guide vehicle (94 4runner 3.0L ) it has a blown motor with only 113,67omiles on it!! The body is straight and the interior is premo! We are thinking of selling it or parting it out to help finance the 97 4runner build.

So we are just going to put it out there!! If you need parts or want the whole thing let us know! What do think it would be worth?

Oh yea here is a pic of the fun under the hood of the new one!! What a difference from the 3.0L and the 3.4L!!
