Ironman brand torsion bars?

I got a set of
ironman torsion bars
for this rig. 258 dollars.
is there any experience with this brand of 4x4 suspension product?
Its aussie and the company is not a huge conglomerate like some.
opinions, here say, gossip or outright lies about this brand gladly accepted.

thanks
but im looking for comments by those who have experience with the brand.
i can google too.
and have googled
and read extensively.
need tires on the ground experience.
gen1 bars are hard to find take what a fella can get while he can get it.

The brand is decent. They mostly copy ARB product designs, but they are of similar quality as well. They have had a troubled history here in the US, due to really poor import/distributor connections. My friend was an Ironman rep for a while, and just couldn't get product out of the east coast importer. That's an administrative issue (actually more of a dysfunctional family issue, but that's a story for another time). The products themselves are fine and I'd use them without hesitation....unless it was a wearable part and I needed the ability to replace it quickly :)

Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
We sure do! Gen 1's included (no leafs yet but I know THE guy for leaf springs) We just get our springs made locally, it's pretty slow but so far quicker than Australia.

I talked with some Ironman reps some years back as well, real nice guys and really wanted to get their products out. The Aussies seem to like their stuff so you're pretty lucky to have found a set for your truck I'd say. I'd run them if I didn't have a closer source already.

I've had conversations in the past with them and looked at there product for a while. Just really hard to get. Like said in previous posts, Run the ironmans, you will be happy. I was talking to them about running some of there shocks to try and test and give a review on, the good, the bad, and the ugly. But my source I lost touch with and went the bilstein route a while back. Happy with my choice.

Didn't you and LT meet those guys in person at the Overland Expo? I think it was after that when I found them selling all their stuff on eBay, unfortunately they had already sold all of what they had for Monteros stateside when I was in the market to try them out. They informed me that they might not be getting anymore ever, seems to be the way the Montero aftermarket goes unfortunately. Anyone hear from TJM USA recently? They called me when they opened up Stateside again to confirm fitment of the Blister fender snorkel and I never heard from them again.

um theres no shortie torsion bars on that website ....cant think of the name right now, something like adventure or something like that. they had the longers but not the shorties...

That site doesn't have them, I'll lobby to change that. Thanks.
