Is this fridge ok for a custom box

Looks pretty swank.
You might want to re-consider using a fridge with a side (front) opening. Every time you open the door, all the cold air will spill out and be replaced by warm air. The fridge will then have to work hard to cool all that warm air. This will use a lot of electiricity.

For max efficiency, a top opening fridge will retain more cold air when opening.

But if front opening is more important to you than max efficiency than this may be a good choice. It does use the Danfoss compressor

I haven't seen their fridges before but Webastco is who makes my diesel heater for my trailer and it is very well made.

I agree with the top load idea but in my case it mounts into a cabinet so it must be front opening.

My main concern is reliability in a high vibration environment. Maybe I can mount on rubber grommets or something.

Hi,

I hope your Outfitter has lots of room, that fridge is bigger than the one I have and it fits only because my camper is for a flat bed and not a slide in.

I'm using a Nova-Kool with the Danfoss compressor and it works great. The one thing mine is missing is a freezer of any size, but we went with an Engel 45 45 to use as a freezer.
