Is this rig overpriced? 85 f250 diesel with homebuilt camper inside canopy. 9k

I really like the reliable diesel, and the ability to tow, and the relatively low miles. But other f250's seem to be cheaper. Is this reasonable? Am I missing something? I hope to use it for camping. I'm currently selling my old air-cooled vw camper, trying to get into something with a similar philosophy about simplicity but more reliable and comfortable to drive. Thanks.

I think it's over priced. Just from looking at the ad, I would think more like a 4-5,000 rig. A stock 6.9 with a c6 automatic is not going to tow very well.

Over priced and sloooooooow. It can probably pull a house...just nowhere near the speed limit...lol.

Don't discredit the 6.9/ 7.3 IDI in your search... the simplicity and reliability more than make up for the lack of power.... just don't try pulling long grades at altitude and expect to maintain any speed lol
