Isuzu build for the future?

This was the build I was going for until I learned about Isuzu in North America [parts/service] being discontinued. Maybe I go for rugged and get a 1990's F350 4x4 and slap a box on the back.........

Get a cab and chassis. The frame is flat behind the cab. Much easier to mount a box on. Most are 2wd though.

Ford e series van makes a ton of sense. easy access to parts, easily converted to true 4 WD, a nice split between the 9 foot long hoods on US pickups now and the true cab over.
Available in numerous configurations, and pretty plentiful.
