Isuzu build for the future?

This was the build I was going for until I learned about Isuzu in North America [parts/service] being discontinued. Maybe I go for rugged and get a 1990's F350 4x4 and slap a box on the back.........
Get a cab and chassis. The frame is flat behind the cab. Much easier to mount a box on. Most are 2wd though.

Ford e series van makes a ton of sense. easy access to parts, easily converted to true 4 WD, a nice split between the 9 foot long hoods on US pickups now and the true cab over.
Available in numerous configurations, and pretty plentiful.

Is building out an Isuzu Fuso chassis feasible, with parts and service being discontinued in the near future in the United States?
Isuzu NPRs are still sold in the US by thousands, Mitsubishi no longer sells new vehicles in the US but will sell parts in the US as required by law for 10 years, about 9 left. These vehicles and their parts are common throughout the world (except the US). I ordered a replacement door seal because I accidentally damaged one, and got it in two days. Dealers of similar medium duty trucks support the vehicles, and nearly all of the drivetrain on mine is American made, same parts and engine as American trucks use, along with brakes, so shouldn't be an issue to source parts if you know of the American truck equivalent for that component. I'm nearly complete with my build on a Mit Fuso with Earthcruiser 4x4 (dana axles, hero transfer case). The 4x4 parts are much overbuilt and over-spec'd, so they should be more robust than most factory parts. My build can be seen @vantripping,
