Just bought a 1986 Isuzu NPR turbo diesel, flatbed, manual trans and 150 wheel base. Runs like a top. Was wanting opinions on what you guys would do with it. I was looking for a short wheelbase and found this one. I'm thinking mounting like a lance camper 1172 right on the flatbed.
Opinions please.

That is what I would do (except I would probably look for an older Bigfoot fiberglass camper just because I think they are built better).

We put a camper on our Isuzu (2006 170 in wheelbase) and like it. Watch out for the front axle load...ours is getting heavy.

And don't forget to have a provision to tilt the whole thing up IF the cabover portion is indeed over the truck cab, unless the camper itself can be moved easily.
