It followed me home, I guess I'll have to keep it.

I think the price was fair to both of us. Now I really need to off-load some vehicles!
As one might expect, with those front shackles the steering is a bit wonky. First order of business is a battery hold-down and removal of the rack. I'll keep the rack for the future, but do not need it up there now. Next bit of business is a set of OME springs & some stock length shackles. At those miles the trans whines a bit. Since there's no record of a rebuild in the 3/4" thick folder of receipts I'd be more worried if it didn't whine a little.
Oh yeah, those bumpers are on short time. Don't have a vision yet of their replacements, but once I do.......

SWEET!

Looks really clean. Nice score.

Neighbor just put his house up for sale. Has a Smurf blue 60 in the yard that I know runs. It was his DD a little over a year ago. It looked in good shape. I have been thinking about making him a offer.

I hear you on selling. The 454 Burb has to go and I am going to loose on it big time.

Cool. Does that speedo read 270,000 miles?

I was re-reading Roseann's ACF FJ60 article in OJ last night and was impressed with the International 2.8 L turbodiesel that TLC is installing. A big improvement in mileage and a bit more grunt than a 2F. I sold my 60 several years ago, and am idely thinking that it would be cool to get another. Where to put it, I don't know.

It looks like a nice straight truck, good luck with it.

What a looker, congrats!

Love the color and clean interior. The body looks really straight. Hope this satisfies your craving.

Congratulations again on completing your Landcruiser hunt -

Nice score. I've been looking for a tan 60 series and have only found one. The owner wanted way too much for it, so the search continues. It's gotten so discouraging that I started looking at Disco I's. I need another ride like a hole in the head.

Thanks everyone!

I think this one might have been chosen for me. It is the same vintage as my Xcab mini, a 1984. Original color of both appears to be the same.

It really does read 270k. Someone before me spent money on cosmetics, though I do not think more than a couple panels have been re-painted. Windshield and gasket are fairly new. As far as I can tell, all of the stock tools are in the tool sack. I need to see about re-fitting the one end of the rubber hold-down cord. Owner's manual is also in the glove box. Just needs an FSM!

I have its cousin sitting along side the house. I'm pulling the body off of it and dropping it on a 91 80 chassis. Tan 60s are wonderful!;)
