I saw that. Nice looking bike, hopefully the rebuild was a thorough as it looks and all the 40 year old wiring/sensors/components were replaced. I can see the appeal of a nice, simple bike for the traveling she does.

Following her through Türkiye, amazing scenery and great archeology. But she still struggles to pick the bike up off its side…

How much fuel does the tank hold?
My BMW GS had an 11 gallon tank on it, it was almost impossible to pick up by yourself when full.

Don't know offhand but she often carries extra fuel in those fuel bags hanging at the back somewhere. The shift pedal bent quite easily on the last dropsie. I just recall a design goal for the new bike was to make it lighter and easier to pickup so wonder what her post mortem will say about that.
