A day of building brackets. Drilling a 1" hole takes some time.

The short one's are 3/8" and the long are 3/4 (2 x 3/8"). I don't have anything over that. My bad.

All welded up.

I needed to cut somethings apart. I forgot about the lift for stuff on the back of the truck. Here you can see the setback. Don't want to hit the hitch . LOL

Only tack,until you are sure !

Pulled the sub-frame for the rear end of the box and cleaned for welding. All welded in along with the upper bumper. Its 3x3x1/4". That should stop some things ? LOL

No on to the water tank rack.

Your welds look nice. I like the removable toe hitch collision bar.

What steel did you use to extend the frame and how is it connected?

Sub-frame was made from a semi truck frame rail cut off. (salvage). Then it is welded and bolted to the trucks. Welded to the box and bolted to the truck.

If something comes up and the box needs to come off it will just unbolt.

So did you roll up to a salvage yard with a torch and cut them off?

Do you have more pictures on how they are attached by chance?
