Well I have found a set of tires off a stock TJ (5 on 4.5 with 235/75/15 mud tires) for $40 that I will be picking up. My next problem is axle, the current one is a tiny 4 bolt. My question is the frame rails are 36" wide, if I get an axle that has a hub face width of 48" will the tires clear, if not, I will probably have to have a custom axle made.

Well I have been busy with other stuff and not much has been happening. I still haven't figured out the axle issue. I think unless I go with a custom axle that I won't have the clearance to mount the 235/75/15s. I'm hoping to figure something out to get them under there but right now it just looks like a headache and I am tempted to put this project off until I get access to a welder and just start from scratch.
