J-Blick Photo Thread

Well here it goes,

So, I'll start with a little background. This is not a build thread, it's a photo thread. I'm an avid photographer and I happen to own a 2011 TE which I love. I use the runner for overlanding purposes more than anything and in some cases it's just a big tripod. I take trips all of the time and do everything I can to experience new sights and hopefully capture images that are worth sharing.

I'll do my best to share locations and any info concerning photography, but I have to remind you...I'm not a professional. 95% of my images will contain my rig, but I will also include some that I've taken along the way. I've got a few hobbies like ultra running, fast packing, and surfing that fuel my need to explore.

Here's one of my favorites. This was taken during a lightning storm down along the Texas coastline.

Here are a couple. Like I said I'm a surfer, so I spend as much time searching for waves as I do riding them. The other image is from this winter while driving through the MTNs on the East Coast.

Canon 5DMK3 and I always shoot in RAW. The lenses I use are the 50mm, 17-40mm, 70-200mm, 100-400mm, 15mm fisheye, and 180mm macro. All are canon L series lenses.
