Jack points for a 2003 Montero

What is the proper way to jack and layout jack stands on the Monteros?

I have been doing the following

Jacking points
- Front Crossmember
- Rear Diff

Jack stand points
- Rocker panels for front and back


Is this the correct way?!

Does the FSM show any jack points? I forget exactly where I put the jack when I had a gen 3, but I always had a block of wood between the jack dn where ever I was lifting at.

I jacked the Monty up from the rear diff last week, do you think I messed up anything?

Welcome!
I think you are fine about Diff unless you cracked or dented it. I would use cross member.
For me, I cannot lift high enough with my jack so I put piece of wood under crossmember.
For stand, FSM shows to put it on pinch weld but I put it on body frame. Works ok for me.
