Jack suggestions?

I need to replace my Jeep Cherokee's broken factory bottle jack. I'd prefer to replace it with another jack that fits under the back seat - preferably where the factory bottle jack was stored.

Can you guys recommend a good jack? It doesn't have to be a bottle jack, but it should be very portable. Pictures and/or links appreciated.

Those mechanical bottle jacks in older Toyotas (80's era, no experience with Taco+ vintages) would also be a good option. No idea how they might compare to the LR/RR part.

Back up any jack with something (Jackstand, lump of wood, wheel you just took off....)

I will second the Range Rover Classic/Disco I bottle jacks. I have yet to find another one half as nice.

I posted an inquiry on roversclub.org, a local Land Rover enthusiast group, and had a replacement bottle jack the next day. Thanks for the suggestions, folks! Now I won't be tempting fate so much by driving without a jack.

OK, now I know what I'm getting myself for Christmas...and the Hi-Lift can go back in the garage.

Out of curiosity, what is a fair price for one of these?
