Get a ratchet strap. Hook it to car and then to straps of tent top v. Ratchet it closed.

Bad design if users can't close it by themselves.

Hi! My tent sold. Good luck finding a rooftop tent. They are so much fun. On my way out with my Autohome - it has a crank and is much easier! The James Baroud was really nice, just too hard for me to close. I recommend both for great times.
