JC Rebuilding a Military 1966 M416 Trailer

This is how I receive the trailer on June 2012.

We start working on the rusty areas, frame extension and modification for Max Coupler.

Ready for the Tailgate!!!!!

We change all bearings, seals, Suspension Shackel Kit and bushing
Parts Numbers;
Bearing LM501349
Racer LM501310
Oil Seal 472018








We also change the bolt pattern from 5 to 6 in order to use Toyota wheels and keep original brake.



Frame is painted!!!!

Here is ready to Camping, we are missing the electrical part that is going to be done soon, also the hardtop was remove because we had some problems with the welding.

I'm confused you showed rebuilding a 5 lug hub, but there are 6 bolt wheels mounted on the frame?

What did you use for tailgate latches?

I don't have the brand we use but is the same color code for the 2012 Toyota Prado.

Yes, I keep using the same 5 lug hub but we convert it to 6 lug, we did some drilling to chance the pattern because I want to keep the original brake and use the same spare tire of my Prado.

the tailgate latches are from a Toyota Hitlux 1998.

I will post more pictures of the tongue extension later... I just drop the trailer to get the electrical part ready.

Working on the lights... New lights and Wiring...

This are 3/4" Side Light Marker Amber (Led)



I change the tail lights for this new Tail Lights - Gama Goat Style
