Just recently made a DIY on Nissan XTERRAs with Loops for the lights on bumpers. Check it out at Xterraperformance.com in the blog section. Filled with a full description and HD photos.

U-bolts and turnbuckles with steel cable. Nice and easy!

My only wonder would be if they stay in place on the front bull bar. I would think because of how they are attached, when a branch pushes into them the u-bolts would slide around that bar

The U Bolts are wrapped in a plastic tubing which holds it in place. Mainly I did that because I wanted to not scratch my bumper

Washed and cleaned.

Additionally, I made a PD'd rock/bug guard. I had chips already and the small rust areas annoyed me.

Definitely. Have you ever been to red river gorge /slade area? Tons of great wheeling.

I've only been hiking there.

Lots of the guys in the Kentucky Krawlers love that place.

Yeah I've been on a few rides with the ky krawlers guys. One of my buddies lives right down the road from the entrance and he's willing to go wheelin and exploring any times hes off work. We will have to set something up sometime soon.
