Jeep AEV Brute - Grey - ~$30K in Hermosa Beach

Hey Guys,

I saw an AEV Brute for sale in Hermosa Beach parked on Manhattan Ave near Longfellow street on Saturday afternoon. I wasn't able to take pictures or note the phone number it was $29,XXX marked down from $35K. I noticed it had OME suspension and BFG all terrains.

I know this post isn't very valuable without pics or contact info. I couldn't find it on craigslist or aev's forum but it is out there if you want one.

Relatively speaking I have to agree with you. I was on their site (AEV) looking at parts to build my own...maybe using a CJ instead but making stuff fit as needed. *GASP* that stuff is NOT inexpensive! WoWzers!

The photos and the original ad were posted in December 2008, almost two years ago. Hard to say what the truck looks like today! Strange that the ad was never updated.

Used as a daily driver, the engine/trans must have traveled 100K miles by now.

I saw this truck parked in midtown Manhattan ~5 years ago. Seller seemed like a nice guy at the time. One of his ads mentions he took job in US Foreign Service (State Dept.) so may well be out of country a lot, truck parked at friend's house etc. Pics also appear to show a new Raptor... I would make an offer.

David (Silvercruiser), any chance you can snap some cellphone pics of it? I've always wanted to do a Brute conversion and we have a TJ, but the financial planets just never lined up properly. I'd die to have this one, toss a RTT on the bed and call it good... but there's no room for the pooch.
